New accounts start as Tier 2 (Registered Researcher), which adds access to occurrence datasets and observation submission. Higher tiers — for ex-situ coordinators and program managers — are assigned by the platform operator on request. Public profiles, the map, and the conservation dashboard remain open without an account.
